Operational Technology Engineer (Bilingual English/Spanish)

We’re currently looking for an Operational Technology Engineer to join our growing Automation & Operations Technology team. This is your opportunity to work at the intersection of logistics and advanced technology – helping to design and deploy innovative OT systems that power world-class warehouse operations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead OT delivery for new warehouses, customer implementation projects, and innovation initiatives – from scanners to RFID to sortation systems.

• Design OT solutions that integrate seamlessly with operational workflows.

• Collaborate across functions to implement secure, scalable technologies while ensuring compliance with Maersk’s governance and cybersecurity standards.

• Guide vendors and evaluate new tech for warehouse environments.

• Provide expert-level troubleshooting (Level 3 support) and performance feedback to teams.

• Train warehouse teams on new technologies, devices, and tools.

• Travel regionally (~30%) to support deployments and training on-site.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with warehouse OT – scanners, printers, RFID, tablets, etc. (Zebra, Datalogic, Honeywell, etc.)

• Device and system configuration (e.g., SOTI, MDM solutions)

• Understanding of WMS/YMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan Scale, HighJump/Körber)

• Familiar with ISA-95 architecture, edge compute, cloud/on-premise systems

• Wireless network design and implementation (especially in warehouse environments)

Soft Skills

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership

• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal ability

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment
