Job Description:

Job Summary

Salisbury University is seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to lead its NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs. This full-time position involves comprehensive management of both teams and requires a deep commitment to the recruitment, development, and overall well-being of student-athletes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and instructing student-athletes during practices and competitions.
  • Organizing all aspects of team operations, including scheduling, travel, and equipment management.
  • Handling all administrative responsibilities in compliance with NCAA Division III regulations and University standards.
  • Facility oversight of two tennis facilities

This role demands a high level of professionalism, strategic leadership, and the ability to foster a competitive and supportive team environment.

Authority and Accountability

This position reports to the Director of Athletics.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated experience working with college student-athletes, preferably in a collegiate athletic setting
  • Strong foundational knowledge of NCAA Division III compliance and sport specific rules, regulations, and compliance standards
  • Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture focused on student-athlete development both on and off the court

Preferred Qualifications

  • First Aid/CPR
  • Strong computer skills, experience with software related to recruitment of prospective student-athletes (Teamworks/ARMS, FrontRush)

Additional Job Information:

The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.
