Part-Time Assistant

Compensation Range:

$13.00 - $13.00

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for collecting, sorting, and shelving library materials. Operates equipment as needed and ensures equipment is maintained in proper working order.

Job Duties:

• Assists students with usage of computers and printers.
• Answers directional and informational questions of library patrons.
• Will check-in books, and audio/visual materials.
• Operating equipment such as photocopiers, printers, scanner, laptops.
• May aid in the training of student assistants.
• Performs other similar and related duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent customer skills, library experience, experience working in an academic setting.

Supplemental Job Information:

This is a part-time position working the evening shifts.
