DEXA Technician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

The DEXA Technician performs a variety of technical work related to the taking and processing of x-ray films and work relative to the department's scope of activities as required.

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of a Bone Densitometry Program or Radiology Program (CRT).
• California Radiologic Technologist upon hire
• California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician Bone Densitometry Permit upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire or
• National Registered Technologist - Bone Densitometry upon hire
• Experience as a DEXA Technician

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of Experience as a DEXA Technician

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
