Role Overview
The Enterprise Ways of Working team (EWoW) is responsible for leading multi-year strategic programs that cut across multiple product teams as well as accelerating strategic alignment and planning across Enterprise Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Technology, to elevate transparency and drive business and customer outcomes.
As the TWA Director, Portfolio Strategy & Operations, you are accountable for defining, operationalizing, and enabling the end‑to‑end processes for portfolio operations and the technology investment planning lifecycle; from ideation through funding, execution, and delivery. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, tooling, and change management – translating enterprise strategy into actionable, scalable, and transparent enterprise operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cross Portfolio Operations, Strategy, & Governance
- Continuously evolve the end‑to‑end portfolio operating model spanning ideation, demand intake, feasibility assessment, prioritization, funding, and delivery.
- Define and standardize how stakeholders engage in planning processes, translating strategy into executable processes and driving adoption across business, product, and engineering personas, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and regulatory policies.
Tech Investment Planning Program Management
- Shape and program manage the technology investment planning process, managing end-to-end timelines, process optimization, stakeholder engagement, governance checkpoints, and execution against schedule.
Portfolio Tooling & Reporting
- Champion business process definition and requirements for the portfolio planning toolsets. Translate operational needs into tooling capabilities, partner with technology teams on roadmaps, and ensure alignment between portfolio governance, data quality, and tool adoption.
Operationalizing Ambiguity & Driving Always On Model
- Translate Ways of Working ideas into clear, scalable, and repeatable processes. Distill complex portfolio concepts into simple, consumable guidance and establish governance and feedback loops that support the Transforming Ways of Working (TWOW) team with adoption of new operating models and best practices.
Enterprise Communication & Change Enablement
- Own central tech investment planning training and communications. Develop executive‑ready presentations and enable large‑scale change management through repeatable processes, transparency, and clear storytelling.
Stakeholder Enablement & Cross-Collaboration
- Design processes that intentionally connect lines of business, product teams, and delivery organizations. Enable shared understanding of cost, capacity, and supply constraints, influence senior leaders in a matrixed environment, and act as a trusted advisor navigating portfolio complexity.
