About the role

GRF is seeking a professional, dedicated, and experienced Accounting Technology Services (ATS) Senior Manager to join our team. You will be joining an elite team of Sage Intacct experts who are frequently called upon to present on Sage Intacct topics and support other partners in their technical endeavors.

Requirements

The ATS Senior Manager is an individual contributor with technical strengths and proven capability to design, develop and implement Sage Intacct. In addition, the Senior Manager is expected to take full ownership of client engagements and to develop and mentor other team members in the Department. As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and ongoing support of the Sage Intacct cloud ERP for our clients. This role requires expert level knowledge of Sage Intacct system configuration, design, workflow processes, financial reporting, and accounting for nonprofit and professional service organizations. Your expertise will be essential in guiding our clients and ATS team members through the implementation process, addressing their needs, and providing top-notch post-implementation support.

Requirements

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customers’ needs in Sage Intacct, proactively gathering information to learn about their requirements and expectations, especially during the sales cycle.
  • Supervising the ATS manager who ensures that Sage Intacct is configured to meet the customer’s requirements.
  • Building more advanced reports and dashboards for customers leveraging Sage Intacct’s various reporting tools: Dashboards, Financial Report Writer, Financial Graphs, Custom Report Writer, Interactive Custom Report Writer, and Interactive Visual Explorer.
  • Training customer finance teams and ATS team members on Sage Intacct system configuration, reporting, and best practices.
  • Setting appropriate expectations with the customer as it relates to project scope, timeline, and budget, and maintaining accountability for the same to GRF leadership.
  • Identifying out of scope requests and coordinating with the lead ATS consultant on the project regarding change orders.
  • Coordinating data extraction from various databases and/or legacy systems for importing; providing technical assistance and advice as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any technical or functional issues that may arise during implementation, and training ATS staff on the most efficient and effective implementation techniques.
  • Supporting customers in post-implementation activities, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing guidance to optimize their use of Sage Intacct, such as the addition of marketplace partner software.
  • Staying up to date with the latest developments in Sage Intacct and proactively advising customers on potential benefits and updates through webinars and other communications.
  • Supporting sales and marketing efforts as needed (serving as subject matter expert for items such as discovery, demo, delivering presentations at conferences and/or via webinar, etc.)
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and leadership to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of implementation processes, configurations, and support activities, and assisting the Department with developments and enhancements to these processes.
  • Recognizing functional capabilities and limitations for out-of-the-box functionality and recommending appropriate customizations or Independent Software Vendor solutions.
  • Participating in multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and standards of quality are being met.
  • Implementing and supporting Martus for integrated budgeting and planning needs (when required for the customer).
  • Training other ATS staff on Martus and other Sage Intacct Marketplace Partners as needed.

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications):

  • 4-year degree in business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent.
  • 7-10 years minimum experience in the implementation and/or support of Sage Intacct.
  • Evidence of having completed at least 25 full cycle Sage Intacct implementation projects, preferably in the Non-Profit vertical.
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations is required
  • Experience with Martus (bonus skill).
  • Experience with other ERP packages (bonus skill).
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, fundamental financial concepts and procedures
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skill (pivot tables, lookups, macros)
  • Sage Intacct Implementation Certification
  • Sage Intacct Accountant Certification
