At Parexel, we are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Corporate Services Systems and Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for functional support for multiple systems and expert reporting/analytics for the wider Procurement, Facilities and Travel departments.
You will utilize your in-depth knowledge in different platforms, including expert level Excel, PowerBI, Oracle, and Salesforce, to assist your colleagues with their systems-related questions and provide valuable insights through analytics and reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Create new PowerBI dashboards / update existing dashboards, as required by the business
- Create complex reports using expert Excel skills, as required by the business
- Creating PowerPoint presentations with key metrics, using complex charts and animated graphics
- Analyze data, draw conclusions and provide actionable insights to management
- Creating SOX reports and analyzing discrepancies, investigating and documenting root causes while obtaining necessary approvals
- Design and build automations using PowerApps
- Assist management to fulfill client driven system enhancements with documenting business requirements, providing solutions, potential strategy and coordinating cross functional teams.
- Work with management to develop strategic program guidelines with supporting business cases, requirements and prioritization for new system deployments
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also:
- Assist with ad-hoc reports as requested by internal stakeholders in the Corporate Services department
- Support with maintaining the Procurement, Facilities and Travel SharePoint pages
- Write system documentation, job aids and training materials
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Expert in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel, including complex formulas, power queries and VBA. Expert in creating complex charts and animated graphics in PowerPoint.
- Expert with developing PowerBI dashboards including DAX and complex visuals
- Experience with SharePoint page creation
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines
- Strong multitasking ability, demonstrating innovative problem-solving skills
- Effective team player with the capability to work independently
- Exceptional communication skills and a customer-centric approach
Knowledge and Experience:
- Mandatory 5+ years of Excel/PowerBI advanced formulas / DAX code writing required
- Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps is preferable.
- 2+ years functional procurement/systems experience preferred
- Exposure to global operations and/or professional services
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology
