Overview

Oak View Group's Business Development Team, part of its Global Marketing Group, assists sales leads in creating engaging and attractive content at the root of our company’s growth, and we're looking for a designer to join the team who is passionate about design-driven storytelling. You’ll be bringing sales proposals and presentation decks to life, designing materials from publication templates, keynote decks, print collateral, infographics, branding, and wayfinding. You should be a team player who is able to collaborate across divisions, but also a self-starter who can work independently on multiple projects. And you should be someone who thrives in a creative environment, but who has a strong business acumen and understands the importance of deadlines and details. 

 

This role will pay a salary of $60,000 to $75,000.

Responsibilities

• Produce compelling, high-level, creative graphic design for use in proposals by Oak View Group’s sales teams
• Develop design briefs to engage sales team in process
• Create innovative and attractive Keynote presentations
• Work closely with subject matter experts to learn about the company’s products and services to differentiate deliverables
• Help develop and prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, working with multiple teams to obtain appropriate answers and information, and to ensure accuracy
• Work as a team player and independently, selecting the best course of action under tight deadlines
• Ensure proper use of all design assets including logos and images across multiple brands
• Consistently present new and out-of-the-box ideas for content design, and share best practices with fellow team members

Qualifications

• Highly creative, engaged, and an eye for detail
• Love for fast-paced, ever changing work environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across multiple divisions
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Particularly InDesign), Keynote, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
• An expert eye for Publication and Long Format Design
• Ability to develop new designs from conception to completion
• Ability to meet short and long deadlines, and switch gears quickly
• A confident verbal and written communicator who takes initiative and likes a challenge
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent art / graphic certification required
• Additional Multi-Media skills preferred
• Prior experience or knowledge of RFP processes a plus
• A passion for Interior Design, Hospitality and/or the Sports & Entertainment Industry a plus
