Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.</p></div><h4><strong>Assembly, Integration, and Test Technician</strong></h4> <p>As an Assembly Integration and Test Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing satellite components, subassemblies, and fully integrated vehicles. The role requires both electrical and mechanical integration work to assemble the spacecraft as well as assisting with pneumatic and electrical testing.</p> <h4><strong>Role</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Assemble and test spacecraft and ground support equipment</li> <li>Assemble and integrate the spacecraft using engineering models and procedures. Assemblies include: structural parts and mechanisms, RF waveguides, antenna, electronic boxes, harnesses, coax cables, thermal blankets</li> <li>Maintain paperwork - work instructions, connector mate logs, test logs</li> <li>Set up, adjust, and calibrate standard test equipment to conduct functional and environmental testing using test procedures</li> <li>Perform spacecraft lifting and handling operations</li> <li>Perform spacecraft testing of communications, telemetry and command, thermal, power, and propulsion subsystems per the applicable procedure</li> <li>Operate subassembly and spacecraft pressure test consoles</li> <li>Collaborate with Production engineers to develop and document build procedures</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Requirements</strong></h4> <ul> <li>2+ years of fundamental experience in assembly, manufacturing or maintenance</li> <li>Ability to interpret technical drawings, test plans, and work to procedures</li> <li>Ability to perform spacecraft integration tasks in clean room environment</li> <li>Ability to operate cranes, man lifts, tugs &amp; handling equipment</li> <li>Experience working with general hand tools and torque wrenches<
