Responsibilities & Duties

  • Responsible for planning, and managing multiple complex and technical projects.
  • Manage cross-functional teams (including direct and matrixed), project timelines, dependencies, and overall program health.
  • Enforce and aligns o-time delivery excellence and compliance for each team
  • Able to collaborate with Product Managers to ensure the scope, current process and business values for any given project is understood by the team members
  • Ability to say no and stand up to challenges in the best interest of successful projects delivery.
  • Collaborate with Technical project managers to ensure accurate status are reflected and that their tasks get completed within timeline.
  • IT management communications on program health, status, risks, and issue resolution across.
  • Define and track KPIs for measuring  success and efficiency for every team.
  • Ability to seamlessly manage competing priorities and bring clarity to ambiguous scenarios.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders.
  • Develop and influence the culture of continuous improvement of delivery methodologies
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and counsel is required
  • Provide technical and project management leadership in the organization
  • Work cohesively with DevOps and development team to rollout releases
  • Take the lead/or delegate in creating and improving existing PMO policies and processes
  • Experience with scaled agile delivery methods and Jira agile tool.
  • Always takes initiative with a high level of autonomy.
  • Self-motivated, curious, with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 10+ years of Agile product and/or program management experience
  • 8+ years of leading project delivery teams
  • 5+ years of Software development experience
  • Lean requirements gathering and story mapping experience
  • Experience in Program Management
  • Certification in product or program or project management such as PMP, CSM, SPC, preferred not required
  • Good leadership skills & accountability
  • Strong experience using agile delivery management tools with  JIRA being preferrable
  • Moderate understanding of web and mobile development technologies
