Maintenance Engineering Intern

Internship Expectations
Start: End of May or Beginning of June
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Hours per week: 15-25
Your Responsibilities
− As an intern, you will be assigned to one key project that you will manage during the internship. Results will be presented to the leadership team at the end of the internship program
− Providing support to the assigned department (e.g. Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Operations, Material Planning & Logistics, Finance, IT, HR, …)
− Develop improvement concepts and present them to the leadership team
− Work “hands-on” and spend time with co-workers to understand business processes and challenges
Educational Requirements
− Actively pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Reliability or Electrical Engineering or Facilities/Operations Management, or related sector in an accredited program
− Current GPA 3.0 or better
Experience
− Prior work experience in a manufacturing company is preferred, but not a must
Skills Requirement
− Project management as well as strong organization and communication skills
− Willingness to take responsibility for projects
− Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel. Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
− Knowledge of 3D CAD, SolidWorks & AutoCAD: part, assembly, and drawing (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
− Ability to multitask in a collaborative team and office setting
