Job Description

• Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS is searching for an associate level scientist with experience in basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques. The ideal candidate will support the mammalian protein expression group by performing basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques for various protein expression needs.

Employee Responsibilities:

• Maintain mammalian cells and prepare cell culture to conduct transfection/protein expression experiment.
• Provide general molecular biology support (plasmid preparation, PCR and cloning)

• Assistance in general lab task and supply management
• Work collaboratively with PBS team on-site to achieve critical research objectives and timelines.
• Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice
• Appropriate documentation of all experimental results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or similar discipline
• Experience in cell culture and DNA plasmid preparation.
