Overview

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations for Materials and Laundry which include preparation of budgets, personnel management, inventory control and replenishment for linen and med/surg supplies.

Responsibilities

Daily plans, organizes, directs, and manages assigned departmental functions and activities to replenish supplies and linens to meet patient needs.--------------------------------------------------Ensures Inventory Integrity/Accuracy and purchasing best practice.--------------------------------------------------Responsible for contributing and maintaining annual operating budget.--------------------------------------------------Maintains and or responds to systems/databases.--------------------------------------------------Makes personnel recommendations, writes and communicates performance evaluations in accordance with established policies and procedures.--------------------------------------------------Serves as a reliable and responsible resource for all hospital personnel regarding supply needs.--------------------------------------------------

Qualifications

EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent, RequiredBachelors, Business Administration, PreferredPreferred: Would also accept other related field. EXPERIENCE:Required: Minimum of five (5) years in healthcare materials management or other related supply chain field.Preferred: Minimum of five (5) years of materials management experience in other fields. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDDrivers License | Valid Drivers LicenseIf driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have five (5) years of driving experience and MVR must be approved by Risk Management.PREFERREDCertified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Materials Resource Planner (CMRP) certification.
