We are looking for a Manager, Sales Compensation Administration, who will be an important part of our Sales Compensation team and will be primarily responsible for the overall administration of the Sales Compensation program for the sales organization. As a company, we are experiencing fast growth and are constantly building and optimizing our programs and processes. The successful candidate is one who will be comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and demonstrates a natural drive to get the job done. This role will be instrumental in driving efficiency within the sales compensation program.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and maintain accurate sales compensation data, ensuring these are accurately reflected in sales compensation plans.
- Manage the monthly commission process for the Global sales organization.
- Certify that commission calculations comply with the commission plan and have a clear understanding of plan guidelines and policies.
- Direct weekly/monthly data audits to accurately maintain plan participant detail, and compensation design components.
- Manage tight deadlines and deliver commissions and payroll reporting to various stakeholders each period.
- Own the decision making or escalation on compensation issues, disputes, appeals and review the analysis to facilitate resolution.
- Manage the changes to sales compensation software which includes requirements gathering and testing of incentive compensation plans.
- Manage and contribute to sales compensation projects effectively despite multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Manage a small team of Compensation Administrators

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of work experience in a Sales Compensation role or related function
- 3+ years of experience with CallidusCloud or a Top Tier SPM Solution (e.g. Xactly, Varicent, etc..)
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com
- 2 + years of demonstrated analytical skill and past experience on deriving insights from data
- 2+ years of advanced spreadsheet skills including experience with functions, pivot tables, modeling, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a SaaS environment
- Experience working in a remote heavy organization
- Experience as a people manager or indirectly influencing colleagues
Minimum salary of $89,200 to maximum $236,600.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role.
Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
