Your role in our team

You will maintain in-house postal equipment in a lab setting
-
You will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
-
You will perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
-
You will take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
-
You will determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
-
You will walk the customer through the problem-solving process
-
You will direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
-
You will provide accurate information on IT products or services
-
You will record events and problems and their resolution in logs
-
You will follow-up and update customer status and information
-
You will pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team

You will identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
-
You will work on and troubleshoot issues on research and development in-house lab equipment
-
You will participate in the design of information and operational support systems
-
You will assist in ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

You will install new hardware and software
Your profile
-
You have a Associates Degree or equivalent related education and/or experience
-
You have 3 – 5 years of mechanical and electrical skills
-
You have the ability to troubleshoot systems using electrical prints
-
You have the ability to navigate computer programs and GUI interfaces
-
You have experience using Microsoft Operating Systems and tools
-
You have proven experience as a Technical Support technician
-
You have good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other technical products
-
You have the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
-
You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
-
You have proven customer service background, with demonstrated skills to prioritize and multi task to efficiently solve customer issues
-
You have the ability to work flexible schedule, as needed, to meet customer demands
-
You are able to lift up to 75 lbs
-
You have the capable of bending, crawling and working in tight spaces
-
You are able to travel up to 50%
-
You are able to work at the DFW facility when not traveling
-
You are able to work rotating schedule that supports 24/7 operation
