Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care, a state-of-the-art veterinary referral hospital, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our Physical Rehabilitation team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for helping injured, recovering, and physically impaired animals regain mobility, strength, and quality of life.Our hospital offers a wide range of advanced veterinary rehabilitation services, including:
- In-patient and out-patient rehabilitation programs
- Home exercise plans and weight loss management
- Client education and support
- Assistive devices for mobility
- Therapeutic laser, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
- Therapeutic massage and targeted exercises
- Specialized exercise equipment
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assist with daily physical rehabilitation treatments for dogs and cats
- Handle, restrain, and provide compassionate care for patients
- Maintain and clean rehabilitation equipment
- Support the veterinary team with medications, prescription filling, and patient care
- Assist technicians and veterinarians as needed
- Perform general clinic upkeep, laundry, and sanitation tasks
- Take on assigned projects with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine preferred
- Strong communication skills with clients, team members, and doctors
- Friendly, compassionate, and motivated personality (talking to animals is encouraged!)
- Ability to stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Comfortable working in a veterinary environment with potential exposure to infectious disease
