Description 

Improve Logistics INNOVATION with Business Case Realization (Cost / Benefit Justification). IMPACT Digitalization of Logistics with AI, BI and Data Analytics (IT configurable). 

 

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

  • Find and implement solutions for more effective processes in TX-16 Physical Logistics.

  • Work with Plant (Hall 50 & Hall 52) along with Warehouse Functions (LC01 & LC05).

  • Improve Daily Operations including Processes, Training, Tools and Digitalization.

  • Implement solutions with IT including SAP and Android TC-57 / ProGlove devices / AR / VR.

  • Lead Electronic Board and Data Transparency, Usage of Statistics and Problem Solving.

  • Work with Teams to determine process improvements.

  • Improvement of specific processes working with IT to develop SAP Programming.

  • Implement storage solutions with electronic devices (possible Geofencing).

  • Strategic Application of RFID and Readers.

  • Evaluate non-SAP IT Solutions.

 

Qualifications 

  • Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or IT Degree preferred.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. 
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term. 
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE JANUARY 13TH - MAY 16TH, 2025.
