Job Responsibilities:
- Review daily assignments of housekeeping inspections and room attendants
- Assumes responsibilities of Executive Housekeeper on that person's days off
- Assists in the initial presentation of the training programs and future follow-ups.
- Orders supplies as needed
- Promotes open communications between area supervisor and personal
- Works closely with all inspectors in their area to ensure established standards and procedures are met
- Recommends commendations, promotions, and disciplinary action of employees to the Executive Housekeeper
- Ensure accurate and timely information on room status is communicated to the housekeeping office and front desk and that proper docuantation is maintained.
- May perform work as a housekeeper, inspector, or houseperson, understands and is able to train employees on all roles within the department
- Review the initial stock of housekeeping supplies in linen rooms and prepare requisitions for housekeepers’s approval
- Keeps Executive Housekeeper and management informed of any problems
- Ensures that all company policies and procedures are followed by personal under his or her supervision
- Ensure proper usage of chemical and cleaning supplies, ensure proper labeling of chemicals and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Inspect rooms daily for maintenance and cleanliness issues
- Walks property throughout the day to ensure that all staff is being followed up with
- Inspects the inspector's work for quality
- Understand productivity requirements of housekeepers and ensure that all employees are meeting requirements
- Other duties as assigned
The expected pay range is $55,000 - $65,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
