The construction of fairlife's manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state-of-the-art, 750k sq ft, greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife's next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider. While coupling the industry’s latest technologies and fairlife's operational excellence to build this world-class facility, fairlife plans to hire 250 new employees and bring in approximately 5 million lbs. of milk a day, with room to grow over the coming years.
job purpose: The Warehouse Supervisor will create and maintain a safe work environment for all fairlife employees in the Webster Warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, they will oversee, manage, and develop the Warehouse Operations Team. The team is responsible for loading trailers of finished product, receiving materials from vendors and 3PLs, proper storage and replenishment of materials to production lines, warehouse sanitation, completion of necessary paperwork in a clear accurate manner, and maintaining a “tour ready” facility in compliance with all GFSI regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices. Additional duties include familiarization of our state of the art ASRS system, managing the scheduling and flow of product in and out of the facility to maintain operational tempo.
responsibilities:
· Regularly review and audit the safety protocols of the operation and ensure safe use of all equipment.
· Demonstrate best practices for food safety and quality, along with promoting the fairlife culture of Believe in Better.
· Supervise, train, and develop operators across a 24/7 operation.
· Coordinate outbound and inbound material flow to support sustainable inventory levels in our 112,000 sq ft racked storage, and 90,000 sq ft high density ASRS.
· Ensure proper use and maintenance of the powered industrial fleet, with internal and external support.
· Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
· Support the Inventory Control Team to maintain accurate accounting for all materials used in the operation including participating in the cycle count program.
· Communicate and collaborate with other departments to resolve deviations, shortages, and other discrepancies that could affect the overall operation.
· Maintain records and reporting in D365.
· Support operational KPI’s and report to key internal stakeholders the operational condition of the warehouse.
· Other duties as assigned by the management team.
skills/qualifications required:
· Minimum of 5yrs experience in a warehouse leadership function
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· High school degree or GED
· Demonstrate working knowledge of warehouse inventory, shipping, and receiving methodologies and best practices
· Problem solving in an environment of shifting priorities
· Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
