Regional Head of Finance & Accounting Nordics & UK

The Head of Finance & Accounting Nordics &UK is overall responsible for the operational financial information reported by Electrolux Professional AB, the parent company of the listed Electrolux Professional group as well as our subsidiaries in Denmark, Norway, Finland & UK. Electrolux Professional AB is an operating parent company hosting; domestic sales, export sales, intercompany sales, manufacturing, logistics center, R&D and corporate head office functions with a total turnover of 3,3 bn SEK.

The focus of the role is to ensure financial compliance (accounting, tax, internal control, timely and accurate financial reporting), to “own” the balance sheet and the P&L and be the interface vs our financial auditors. Another part is to continously strive for achieving financial process efficiencies through standardization, harmonization and automation. Last but not least, to continue to drive the implementation of the Finance Transformation agenda in the region. This requires daily interaction with, besides the Country Head’s of Finance & Accounting in the region, the regional Controlling organization, Business Area Controllers as well as other parts of the Finance and Business organization.

Besides leading the regional Finance & Accounting organization, special attention will be given to leading the Swedish Finance & Accounting team (AR, AP & GL) on a day-to-day basis. The Head of Finance & Accounting Nordics &UK will be heavily involved in the closing process of the parent company, independantly carrying out some of the closing steps.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Regional leader of the Finance & Accounting teams in the Nordics & UK
• In total a team of 19 colleagues whereof 9 direct reports.
• Role model that Finance operates as 1 team despite different reporting lines.
• Lead the Swedish Finance & Accounting team located in Ljungby on a day-to-day basis.
• Responsible for compliance with the group’s Accounting Manual.
• Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Responsible for that the group’s internal control framework is adhered to.
• Responsible for driving implementation of the group’s Finance Transformation program in the region.
• Financial auditor interface.
• Manage transfer pricing adjustments.
• Ad-hoc activities related to being a Swedish listed parent company

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience working in similar position.
• Master degree in Finance & Accounting
• Proven leadership experience.
• Ability to work to a high standard under pressure and adhere to strict reporting deadlines.
• Good skills in excel and in general a curious system interest.
• Solid experience in IFRS.
• Prestigeless with a can-do attitude.
• Service minded.
• Possess a high level of integrity.
• Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, ability to operate within an internationally network.
