Job Description
Information security is an integral part of Visa’s corporate culture. It is essential to maintaining our position as an industry leader in electronic payments, and it is the responsibility of each employee to safeguard information, protect it from unauthorized access, and ensure regulatory compliance. Information security has a significant effect on privacy, consumer confidence, external reputation, and/or the bottom line, and it is a priority on everyone’s agenda.
The successful incumbent will be part of Visa’s Business to Business Identity & Access Management team, which is part of the larger Cybersecurity organization. The B2B IAM team has a Global focus, and is responsive to an evolving threat landscape, regulatory compliance, IT security requirements and technology architecture. The B2B IAM team is responsible for secure access to business portals and associated services.
Essential Functions:
Coordination and collaboration across multiple business and technology organizations.
Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and evolving environment, to drive delivery of solutions.
Provide technical leadership and oversight to a team of software engineers
Deliver the product with complex technical interdependencies with cross geographical teams.
Actively participate in Solution design, architecture and development of key initiatives. Ensure developed solutions adhere to established architectural best patterns and target state.
Invest in the career development of direct reports.
Create an engineering culture of creativity and innovation.
Provide technical leadership to development team by participating in design, performing design reviews and code reviews.
Provide technical leadership for quality assurance and test engineering activities – manual and automation.
Lead scrum ceremonies. Play a crucial role in interfacing with business stakeholders to define solutions and requirements, prioritize, and drive execution using agile methodologies.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Must be familiar with Identity and access management functions: OIDC, SAML, OAuth, complete life cycle management of Identity, role and privilege management.
• Be proficient with some of the following Languages, Frameworks & Technologies: Java, Spring, JavaScript, Hibernate, Tomcat, REST, HTTP, JSON, JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Jenkins, Maven, Git and Docker
• Familiarity with various industry audit/security standards including PCI-DSS, NIST and FFIEC
• Understands release managements and familiar with tools like Jira
• Have substantial experience in orchestrating system and data integrations during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring efficient data consolidation, streamlined processes, and uninterrupted business continuity.
• Have expertise in using tools (e.g., SQL) to create comprehensive reports and dashboards for TLT consumption, facilitating data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
• Have expert knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
• Clear, professional communication skills, able to contribute to team discussions, knowing when to contribute, when to listen, and when to ask questions
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a highly iterative, agile and collaborative team environment
• Knowledge of PCI controls and audits, as relates to identity and access management
