Key Responsibilities:
• Visually inspect all inbound loads, including tractor-trailer and roll-off vehicles. Use the provided yard vehicle to safely navigate all areas of the yard.
• Photograph any loads containing nonconforming material and send pictures to the office for review.
• Communicate with Yard Operators and Scale House over the two-way radio regarding any deductions being applied.
• Pick up nonferrous metals from the ferrous yard.
• Operate and maintain various pieces of heavy equipment, including but not limited to front-end loaders, skid steers, and forklifts.
• Perform daily inspections on all equipment and promptly report deficiencies to the maintenance department.
• Process and drain end-of-life vehicles.
What We Expect:
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, and forklifts is preferred.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments as needed.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members over the radio and in person.
• A commitment to workplace safety and equipment maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.79 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

• 8-hour shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
