About the role
- Proficient experience in construction and plumbing
- Plumbing tasks are to be basic
- Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures, household appliances and equipment Performs basic preventative maintenance functions with minimal supervision and not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs and HVAC
- Can perform plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets and sinks, replacing valves, replacing faucets, replacing toilets, basic pipe fitting to include soldering and threading
- Performs duties as directed to maintain all facility equipment in good working condition
- Assists with inspecting systems throughout the facility to detect malfunctions and determine a solution for repair
- Performs general maintenance of the facility as needed including painting, door hardware maintenance, circuit troubleshooting
- Ability to use hand and power tools to accomplish the above duties
- Research and clear purchase order issues work orders
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, customer service, oral communication, problem solving, teamwork, and written communication Must have a valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
