Sr. Associate, Data & Analytics

We are looking for a business intelligence professional with strong background in data integration design and development, data modeling and business and data analytics.   This individual will work closely with the Business Intelligence team to:

• Design and develop data integration routines to integrated data from disparate source systems into an integrated business intelligence environment including defining source-to-target mappings, business rules and other required data transformations

• Design and develop dimensional data models in support of stated requirements

• Conduct business analysis to define the required data to fulfill on business requirements

• Conduct detailed data analysis in support of data related projects

• Collaborating and working effectively with consultants in other regions and practices

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree with an emphasis in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or Business

• 3+ years’ Experience in creating dimensional data models across multiple subject areas and business domains

• 3+ years’ experience in the architecture, design and development of business intelligence solutions

• 3+ years’ experience in optimization of data integration processing and database design

• 3+ years’ experience in the Microsoft business intelligence suite, both on-premise and cloud, including SQL Server databases and the Azure cloud platform

• 3+ years’ experience with business intelligence data visualization tools; Power BI or Tableau

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Analysis Services

• Experience with Server Integration Services, SQL Server utilities and SQL Server Analysis Services

• Experience in defining and managing ETL metadata repositories

• Experience in automating data integration routines

• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Must be a team player; able to work in virtual teams and independently

• Strong curiosity about solving complex business problems and matching technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in formal data quality and strategy assessments

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks

• Experience in defining and managing master data

• Experience in defining and managing business metadata
