About the Team The People Team is dedicated to supporting Clari's top priority - our people! We handle a wide range of functions including recruitment and talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, benefits administration, HR compliance and more. About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner on a contract basis. This role will be working across Clari to ensure People partnership and alignment with one or more business units.
This is a contract position expected to last until August 2024.
This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in the United States. Up to 20% time will be spent at Clari headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. 

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a trusted business partner and coach to business unit leadership teams
  • Supports business units in organizational planning (i.e., talent, structure, culture, process) driven by business needs. Apply knowledge of the future direction of the organization to guide and make decisions on organizational design, talent needs, and solutions
  • Applies expertise to drive People programs through a seamless partnership with People Operations team (Compensation, L&D, Talent, Benefits, People Policies, Culture, DEIB) and peer HR Business Partners to deliver on career planning, coaching, analysis of people data, collaboration on compensation, complex employee relations issues, learning and development, and employee recognition. Ensure effective communication and implementation of regular performance feedback, talent planning and assessment, compensation planning, etc.
  • Leverages data and other metrics to proactively identify and present solutions based on business needs. Identifies and surfaces trends through both qualitative and quantitative data to help drive impact in the business
  • Proactively manages and resolves employee relations issues; ensures manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures; thoroughly investigates employee-relations issues and HR complaints and escalates complex or high-risk situations as needed. Be able to make decisions based on experience, only engaging legal counsel on complex matters
  • Partner with your colleagues in Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Finance, and Legal to improve cross-functional processes
  • Deliver the highest level of service to all employees and managers, ensuring responsiveness and thoroughness to all advice
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of local employment law and regulation

Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen—able to quickly learn the business and make talent and org decisions that impact business outcomes
  • You have 8+ years of experience in an HRBP role, ideally with a deep understanding of and partnering with multiple functions across the business such as GTM, PDE, G&A, and beyond!
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Senior Leadership (i.e. up to the VP level)
  • Able to comfortably move between strategic issues and day-to-day HR operations
  • Experience influencing decision-making
  • Is self-motivated and assertive with the ability to hunt down answers and drive solutions autonomously
  • Equally comfortable partnering with employees and leadership and moving regularly between the tactical and strategic priorities
  • Global experience is a plus
