Job Title:

Team Services Coordinator

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate range for this position is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will take internal value, peer equity, job-related factors, and other organizational considerations into account.

Reporting to the Director of Team Services, the coordinator will assist with various team services and hospitality tasks to ensure the needs of our players and families are met. The Team Services department serves as the dedicated resource for player, coach and scout inquiries. The department purview includes but is not limited to home and road game travel logistics, non-regular season programming logistics (NHL Draft, Development Camp, Rookie& Training Camp, HOPs Christmas Party, Scouting Meetings, etc.) and any player, coach or scout involvement with business initiatives. The Team Services Coordinator will serve as a resource for players and their families, ensuring a high level of personalized service in Anaheim & Orange County.​​

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with the Director of Team Services to ensure continuity of care and premium experience

  • Acts as a liaison between player/coach families and the Organization, ensuring consistent support and communication

  • Supports player’s family and guests on Game Days: tickets/ pass distribution, family/ guest parking, player family lounge organization

  • Supports players and family for miscellaneous items: expedited team store orders, restaurants reservations, golf tee-times, entertainment bookings, relocation after acquisition, or any other personal requests

  • Organizes events with player families when team is on the road

  • Supports NHL debut parent travel to home/away game (hotel accommodations, flights, tickets, post-game photo, memento delivery)

  • Tracks and recognizes player family milestones, children’s birthdays and/or challenging events with thoughtful note and gift on behalf of the Organization

  • Cultivates and expands a trusted network of service providers (school districts, car dealerships, real estate agents, childcare providers, golf courses, etc.), fostering their ongoing success

  • Performs various Team Services tasks, which include but are not limited to assisting with incoming-outgoing equipment transfers, booking ice at Honda Center & Great Park Ice, player check requests/reimbursement inquiries, etc.

  • Assists in the communication of business ops events and appearances to players & coaches

  • Manages game night hospitality (Both Family Lounges) and collaborates with F&B to come up with unique ever-changing menu

  • Cultivates a positive and collaborative team environment by encouraging open communication and transparency

  • Assists in the coordination of team-building events, community outreach programs, and other initiatives

Skills

  • 3+ years in sports or experience in similar role with a focus on customer and/or personal services

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, hospitality, or a related field a plus but not required

  • Knowledge of the NHL landscape

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to build rapport and trust with players, coaches, and staff

  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities

  • Must be a motivated, self-starter with strong communication skills

  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented

  • Excellent standards of professionalism

  • Maintain regular office hours while the team is traveling

  • Available to work all home games including evenings, weekends, and holidays
