Position Overview

A Patient Contact Center Representative (PCCR) is the customer service liaison to each of our practices. The PCCR interacts with each patient with courtesy and respect using exceptional communication skills. The purpose of this position is to provide our patients with a seamless experience while following all UHS Policies regarding registration, scheduling, insurance verification and billing.

Primary Department or Work Location:

Physician Services, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

Work Shift and Schedule:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$15.00 - $20.74 per hour, depending on experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Previous medical, administrative, call center and customer service experience
• Proficient PC skills
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
