Job Description

Hiring Range: $88,881 – $99,991

Range Explanation: 

Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifi

cations, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.

Summary:

Plans, directs, manages, and evaluates all programs, services, and operations of the Court, Children, and Family Services Division and other assigned initiatives in the achievement of Pima County Juvenile Court's mission, vision, and values.

Distinguishing Characteristics:  

This is classified position that reports to the Deputy Administrator, Juvenile Court. This position performs duties under minimal supervision and has a staff of supervisory, professional administrative, technical, and administrative/clerical level employees. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or closely related field and five years of progressive, professional administrative, executive or management work experience, including two years of supervisory and/or management experience.; OR any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resources. 

Essential Duties & Functions:  

• Leads and directs the development, implementation, and administration of the goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the Court, Children, and Family Services Division (Division). 

• Leads and directs the management, implementation, and evaluation of assigned programs, services, and operations of the Division to meet the requirements of all governing federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. 

• Develops and directs a leadership team capable of effectively achieving departmental goals and objectives.
