What is the position? 
This person will be responsible for, among other functions, helping our client, and their Customers, better understand their Federal Financial SAP enterprise software that they have implemented, where there are performance issues and areas for improvement, and how to use it more effectively and efficiently.  
 
What will I get to do?  

• Create, prepare, and discuss improvement solution flows or other system enhancements which can deliver improved system performance, more efficiencies, and better effectiveness for our Client and their Customers. 

• Work with the team on O&M best practices once the Integration has been completed and ‘refreshed’, as well as other options that will result in increased efficiency.         

• Work closely with team to identify system requirements not addressed in the initial implementation, and translate them into additional specifications for their SAP Federal Financials system.

• Collaboration with Program and Project managers on system performance status, issues, solutions, and provide consultative activities.

 
What qualifications do I need? 

• US Citizenship

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, computer information science, information technology, or a related field

• Senior consultant level skills in at least one of the following modules/solution areas:

• SAP NetWeaver (formerly SAP Basis)

• SAP EP (Enterprise Portal)

• SAP PI (Process Integration)

• SAP Solution Manager.

• Advanced Business Application Programming (SAP ABAP)

• SAP Application Server.

• Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)

• At least 6 years of direct SAP technical experience

• Ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with clients

• Possesses exceptional SAP technical knowledge, skills, and capabilities

• Practical experience in managing customers, SAP engagements, service deliveries and/or project management

• Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; superior troubleshooter

• Ability to translate customer requirements into solutions

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and sound SAP functional knowledge

 
What additional characteristics will help me thrive?  

• Experience delivering to DHS or other Federal Customers

• Programming Skills (preferable SAP ABAP and SQL Script)

• Technical Skills in Database Technology (preferable SAP HANA DB)

• SAP S/4HANA Logistics Implementation Experience

• SAP S/4HANA PS and PPM Implementation Experience

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Conversion Projects

Compensation

$113,927.72 - $187,981.83

The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data.
