JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Tech (SEASONAL) is responsible for the up keep of the entire community. This position is responsible for a variety of areas including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Duties include inspecting buildings, maintaining inventory, and general repairs.

- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair throughout the community.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs community-wide.
- Performs general repairs and routine maintenance. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and lightbulbs, and other building fixtures.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Repair and replace furniture parts and components per assigned work order or preventive maintenance schedule in a safe and timely manner.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
- Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress. Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all Plymouth Place policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions from the supervisor.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with patients and employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
