Why You Will Love this Job:

The Maintenance & Facilities Manager will lead all maintenance and facilities operations for both Hattiesburg manufacturing plants, overseeing a team that includes supervisors, a planner, and hourly staff. Drive a cultural shift to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), improve equipment reliability, and reduce downtime while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Specific Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-level maintenance team and foster leadership development.

• Drive TPM transformation from reactive to proactive maintenance.

• Oversee multiple equipment installations and engineering projects annually.

• Maintain and optimize SAP work order system, PM compliance, and tool crib inventory.

• Track and analyze OEE and maintenance metrics; implement improvements.

• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve part quality and uptime.

• Implement predictive maintenance tools (e.g., vibration analysis, ultrasonic monitoring, MTBF reporting).

• Ensure safety training compliance for all maintenance and facilities staff.

• Manage project budgets, procurement, and cost control for maintenance and facilities.

• Standardize processes and create SOPs to capture and share organizational knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related technical field.

• 10+ years industrial maintenance/facilities leadership in manufacturing.

• 7+ years managing leaders (supervisors/managers).

• Proven TPM leadership experience.

• Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills; PLCs, VFDs, crane systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite; able to analyze data for decision-making.

Preferences

• Experience implementing TPM or PM systems

• SAP maintenance module proficiency.

• Lean/Kaizen/continuous improvement experience.

 

The Salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$149,500.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
