Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Overview:

WiredPeople is seeking multiple Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. Successful candidates will perform clinical and public health-related tasks supporting federal, state, and local public health entities onsite in the state of Rhode Island.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Attend briefing with medical operations manager and receive assignments
• Assist with triage/complete medical section of intake form
• Assess the physical condition of the clients on an on-going basis
• Monitor oxygen-dependent clients
• Supervise and assist in the administration of medications as needed
• Maintain accurate notes and records on all patients who receive medical assistance
• Keep clients records/intake forms in a secure area
• Maintain universal precautions and infection control
• Consult with medical operations manager for any needed supplies/equipment
• Provide care and reassurance as needed
• Assist with activities of daily living

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of approved CNA program.
• Currently holds an active Rhode Island CNA license.
• At least one year of experience in a Clinic, Physician's office, or similar.
• Strong Phlebotomy skills.
• Solid Computer skills including Electronic Health Records.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
