Are you ready to make an impact in the heart of cybersecurity? Peraton is seeking a meticulous Zero Trust Quality Assurance Specialist to fortify our Cyber Mission business unit at Fort Meade, Maryland. As a pivotal member of our team, you'll contribute to one of the Intelligence Community's most expansive enterprise engineering endeavors.
This full-time role demands a commitment of 1880 hours annually, offering a dynamic opportunity to thrive in a customer-centric environment. You'll operate from a customer location, orchestrating a comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) program while ensuring compliance with industry-leading standards and DoD/customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- QA Program Management: Oversee and enhance QA processes, steering them toward optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Document Review and Feedback Provide meticulous feedback to the Government on documents and deliverables, upholding stringent quality assurance standards and industry best practices.
- Establish Quality Control Standards:Forge and maintain robust quality control protocols to ensure the professional, timely, and accurate review and delivery of Systems Engineering (SE) documentation.
- Data Quality Analysis: Execute thorough analyses of deliverables and documents, ensuring data integrity and adherence to established standards.
- System and Software Evaluation:Develop and sustain a comprehensive process for evaluating system and software, including associated documentation.
- Lifecycle Quality Monitoring:Monitor and maintain quality levels throughout the system and software development lifecycle, ensuring consistency and excellence at every phase.
- Formal and Informal Reviews: Conduct formal and informal reviews at predetermined intervals during the development lifecycle, fostering transparency and accountability.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the SE Document Review and Preparation process, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of two (2) years of experience conducting quality assurance of systems and software processes on contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Five (5) years of additional QA experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Three years of experience is required in Government systems and software engineering evaluation, including formal and informal audits and technical reviews.
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:
- Experience in a Cyber environment.
