Accountabilities:
1. Performance Management
a. Design and implement performance frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor and enhance service delivery across FinOps functions. Partner with key stakeholders to develop metrics that matter to the business units to
b. drive performance and enable their business strategies
c. Drive accountability through structured governance and reporting mechanisms
d. Partner with the operational leaders to diagnose performance issues and implement targeted interventions
e. Establish regular quarterly business reviews to discuss performance, opportunities to improve, and cost effectiveness
f. Develop and implement workforce planning capability across FinOps to optimize resource allocation across subprocesses
2. Controls & Compliance
a. Identify operational risks across FinOps activities and develop mitigation strategies
b. Risk Management - identify and develop risk strategies across FinOps, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues. Ensure delivery of ~20 FRC controls and lead remediation of any findings.
c. Collaborate with audit, FRC, legal, and risk teams to ensure robust risk governance. Develop risk framework to socialize concerns, align on risk tolerance with primary stakeholders, and develop plans to address gaps
3. Portfolio Execution:
a. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic transformational initiatives across multiple workstreams.
b. Lead and manage a portfolio of initiatives to successful completion including resource allocation, risk tracking, milestone management and benefits realization
c. Develop business cases and secure executive buy-in for high-impact initiatives
4. Process Improvement
a. Drive best practices, process improvement initiatives, and innovation across FinOps, lead organizational process improvement initiatives to create operating efficiency
b. Lead transformation initiatives, aligning systems, tools, and processes across functional teams to foster operational efficiencies, scalability, and sustained value
c. Map, assess, and redesign end-to-end processes to eliminate waste, increase automation, improve service quality and scalability.
d. Monitor performance improvements post-implementation and iterate as needed
e. Partner with adjacent organization to accelerate value
