Finance > Treasury > Financial Risk
You will be part of Vestas Treasury department, a team of 20 skilled colleagues representing 8 different nationalities. Treasury is instrumental in managing risk, ensuring an optimal risk-reward balance, and supporting Vestas sales governance.
As part of the Financial Risk team, which currently consists of four employees, you will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and approving the financial risk profile of all sales and service transactions globally in Vestas.

 

Responsibilities
As a Senior Specialist in our Financial Risk team, you'll take on a variety of exciting and impactful responsibilities, including

• Act as the key point of contact for all deals within a specific geographical region from a financial risk perspective
• Support the development and improvement of governance, processes, and financial risk policies
• Carry out an analysis of the impact and efficiency of existing policy initiatives
• Continue the development of the risk culture

 

Qualifications
We expect you to have

• A Master’s degree or HD in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in finance or risk management within a financial institution or global company
• Solid understanding of financial statements, project finance principles, and infrastructure project structures
• Knowledge of banking and financial services, including payment and performance securities (e.g., bonds, letters of credit)
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, advise, and consult with stakeholders

• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant financial risk management tools
