What you will be doing

• As a UX Product Manager, you’re at the intersection of what the user wants and what the business needs, and are responsible for building world-class UX (user experience) for a new crypto exchange across mobile, web,b, and H5.

• You will be working on a platform that touches the lives of millions of people around Africa, and must therefore understand and empathize with users to build an awesome and engaging experience.

• Building conviction on your platform, understanding your users, and having a clear vision and roadmap with which you align with stakeholders

• Owning the vision and roadmap of every aspect for UX related, look and feel, content, user flow, CMS framework, and so on.

• Initiating, prioritizing, and managing projects to implement the UX changes.

• Monitoring and improving UX based on data-driven analysis.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written): convey complex messages clearly and simply, and drive conviction across stakeholders.

• Supporting marketing activities from end-to-end UX and campaign tech perspectives.

What your day-to-day looks like

• Managing UX-related IT projects across multiple teams under an agile framework daily.

• Reviewing and analyzing UX performance and planning for further improvements every week.

• Creating dashboards and reports for UX measure with provided reporting and tracking tools every month.

• Communicating with the designer team, engineer team, and leadership team to keep the best UX in check regularly.

• Creating PRD (product requirement documents) for new UX projects regularly.

What you need to have

• 5+ years of proven experience as a UX Product Manager in the Fin-tech, Finance, or Blockchain industry.

• Strong understanding of UI & UX design, User flow design, CMS, and frontend frameworks such as node.js, Vue, and so on.

• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to objectively prioritize.

• Logical thinker with the ability to identify and articulate rationale, assumptions, and risks.

• Proficiency in data collection and reporting tools.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in English.

Nice To Haves

• Ideally have experience with the crypto industry or centralized exchange.

• Ideally have experience in team management and leadership.

• Candidates who have strong experience in programming are a huge advantage.

• Experience with African markets.

• Proficiency in Mandarin.
