As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener Driver in Torrance, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure and welcoming environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate: $20.09 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a logistics and distribution environment.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and credentials as required.
• Report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or emergencies promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
