Senior UX Designer

VAS is seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to drive the visual direction of our digital products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into elegant, high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes. You'll work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to shape digital experiences that are both visually compelling and highly functional. Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Lead the end-to-end UI design process for web and mobile applications, from initial concept to final developer hand-off.
- Visual Strategy: Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Interactive Prototyping: Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes (using Figma) to demonstrate complex animations and transitions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define product direction and ensure technical feasibility.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering their professional growth and maintaining high quality standards.
- User Advocacy: Incorporate accessibility standards and user research insights into design decisions to create inclusive, user-centric experiences.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in UX or Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex digital projects.
Tool Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite. - Demonstrated experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript) to facilitate smooth developer hand-offs.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to defend design decisions to senior stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
