Marketing/Merchandising Administrative Assistant

Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly is a 100% employee owned grocery chain with 10 locations in Southeastern Wisconsin. We have been awarded “Top Workplace” by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for several years in a row. Here is a snapshot of the duties you can expect:

Work Schedule:

Flexible Work Schedule -averaging 10- 15 hrs. / Week - Monday - Friday. ( Although the hours for this position are approximately 10-15/week, we are open to combining these hours with one’s current hours to provide and/or maintain full-time employment)

Overview:

Performs varied administrative support to Director of Marketing & Merchandising.

Job Requirements & Skills:

Key Skills of the Job:

• Solid basic administrative office skills
• Proficient with use of Computers:
• Use of email, printing, and navigating the internet.
• Working knowledge of developing and Updating Excel Spreadsheet Reports and Formulas.
• Ability to work with and navigate social media sources, a Plus.
• Proficient in basic math skills related to position.
• Ability to multitask, possess good organization, follow through skills with an eye for detail/accuracy.
• Ability to work under minimal direction/supervision, as well as within in a team environment, when warranted.
• Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills (Including proof reading, editing and related skills.)

Key Responsibilities of the Job:

• Creating and updating reports in Excel.
• Printing and organization of “In-Store Signage” – includes the use of our special signage printer/plotter. (Involves an average of 2-3 hrs/week.)
• Vendor billing and tracking of outstanding balances.
• Able to meet deadlines and special project needs.
• Proactive in keeping our Director of Marketing & Merchandising aware of pertinent information related to this position in a timely manner.
• Other Administrative Support Responsibilities as needed.
