Job Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and backend developers, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain custom web applications using PHP, Magento, and/or Symphony framework.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any issues or bugs that arise.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies related to PHP development and e-commerce platforms.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing your knowledge and providing guidance to help them grow professionally.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent
• Experience with Spryker is a strong advantage
• Proven experience as a PHP Software Engineer, preferably with at least 5+ years of experience in e-commerce projects.
• Strong proficiency in PHP programming language and experience with Magento or Symphony framework.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and knowledge of DevOps practices is a plus.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience with collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex applications.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
