What You’ll Contribute to OHM Advisors

Project Management Expertise

• Develops proposals, work plans, schedules, and budgets for projects. Expertise in preparing discipline specific, as well as multidisciplinary project proposals at multiple scales desired.
• Manages and delivers both discipline specific and multi-disciplinary projects at a variety of scales, monitoring financial performance, project quality, and team workload.
• Coordinate with subconsultants to establish contracts and manage communication and deliverable development.
• Effectively communicate goals, alternatives, recommendations, and outcomes related to technical expertise to project team, client, and the public.
• Performs quality assurance and quality control of project deliverables.
• Manages and mentors team members on projects.
• Alongside Principals, acts as main point of contact for projects and monitors communication to facilitate project delivery.
• Works closely with Discipline and Geographic leaders, Clients, and project teams to deliver projects and problem-solve as issues arise.

Discipline Technical Expertise

• Provides landscape architectural leadership through all project phases, including design and technical construction documentation. Familiarity with and ability to oversee the development of phase deliverables, including concept design, technical studies and reports, and construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and opinions of probable cost.
• Leads the coordination of designs with other OHM disciplines to ensure an integrated design and engineering process.
• Familiarity and ability to collaborate with allied disciplines, such as planning, community engagement and engineering.
• Maintains licensure and continues to advance the firm through professional leadership
• Maintains expertise in local, state, and federal regulations for project development. Stays abreast of industry best practices.

Business Development Expertise

• Maintains and grows professional network consisting of clients, collaborators, and community organizations to continue growth of OHM Advisors
• Participates in professional organizations and business development opportunities to expand OHM’s working network
• Maintains rapport with clients to facilitate repeat work
• Identifies business growth opportunities and works with Discipline and Geographic leaders to realize opportunities.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Ability to oversee the production of deliverables at all phases of design.
• Ability to read and interpret ordinances, statutes, plans, maps, blueprints, contracts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with Lumion a plus.
• Ability to function as a member of a team to support project and interpersonal goals and work collaboratively.
