Job Description

The Chief of Staff position has primary responsibility for completion of high-level activities directly for a member of Solidigm's senior-most executive team. The nature of the job varies based on the executive, leadership team and organization’s changing needs, and may evolve over time. This position plays a key role in sensing and working directly with the broader organization and staff to help set priorities and understand gaps, also working with other senior executives across Solidigm and their Chiefs of Staff as required.  This position provides high performing, high potential professionals at Solidigm with an opportunity for accelerated business and leadership learning with a unique assignment reporting to, and receiving mentoring directly from, their executive.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports the CFO in strategic planning, communication, problem resolution; ensures matters requiring the attention of executive leaders are thoroughly developed, researched and executed.

• Creates and maintains a plan to cascade communications when representing the executive on projects and in meetings; striving to keep the executive and the executive team informed.

• Serves as a primary liaison for the executive and leaders on strategic and operational matters pertaining to Finance.

• Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.

• Serves as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them.

• Anticipates, identifies and troubleshoots issues of concern or significance; exercises discretion to provide timely information and necessary updates across multiple stakeholders; responds to inquiries as delegated by the executive.

• Works with the Finance Leadership team to develop business plans related to a wide range of projects; may chair and lead committees.

• May oversee the direct or indirect supervision of assigned personnel within the executive's organizational units.

• Manages high-priority projects and programs designed to support Finance goals.

 

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. 

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, or similar business degree, or related field with 8+ years related experience or an MBA with 6+ years related experience.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of Data Analytics experience.
  • Previous experience working in a Finance function or capacity, strong financial acumen
  • Project Management experience.
  • Prior experience leading global teams.
  • Previous experience in ramp situations.
  • Previous experience managing global teams and owning complex global projects.
  • Proficient in all Office products
