Reports To: Sr. Director, Product Portfolio & Strategy

ChargePoint’s Product Portfolio team provides strategic direction and defines solutions to serve our commercial and fleet customers and EV (Electric Vehicle) Driver users. Our portfolio of solutions addresses the needs of various segments through a combination of hardware, software, services, and purchase models that match our customers’ goals.

We are looking for an intellectually curious, analytical, creative, collaborative, user-centric, and strategic thinker who can communicate complex concepts in a structured way and drive alignment across a wide array of stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

As the global Product Portfolio Director for Fleet, you will lead a team of strategists for ChargePoint’s Fleet business to maximize ChargePoint’s solution value to Fleet customers. As an integral part of the product team, you will work closely with customers, product, marketing, sales and business development leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders to define the future of Fleet Electrification.

In this role you will:

  • Craft a customer-centric product vision and strategy for a world-class global fleet product portfolio.
  • Lead a team of portfolio managers to evolve ChargePoint’s fleet offerings, optimizing for rapid adoption, high customer satisfaction and retention.
  •  Apply expertise in business strategy, product planning, customer discovery and product development to gain alignment on the solution vision, inform product planning, prioritization, and development.
  • Lead in a highly matrixed cross-functional organization across Product, Marketing, Sales and Service, and Operations teams, aligning on market opportunity and needs, business priorities, and guiding the company as solutions are planned and introduced to the market.
  • Track market trends and competitive offerings, interface with customers and sales teams to ensure product direction and capabilities meet fleet market needs and customer satisfaction goals.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • 12+ years of experience, or 10- years plus an MBA, in consulting, business development, service/operational leadership, corporate strategy, or product management roles.
  • Domain expertise in e-mobility, fleet operations and/or management
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, frame strategic choices, and drive decision making with a data driven approach.
  • Strong Excel, Tableau, Salesforce.com, or other equivalent data analysis tools; financial modeling ability within a business context.
  • Experience working in less mature, hyper growth, business environments where you contributed to setting up and improving business practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional consensus and apply business judgement to complex strategic and operational challenges.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, seamlessly moving between strategy and execution
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently and be able to chart direction of complex, concurrent projects/programs.
  • Ability to build and mentor a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses and leadership levels.
  • MBA or equivalent is preferred
  • Ability to travel internationally and support local teams
