As a Contractor Counter Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding service and building relationships with our valued customers. You will be responsible for assisting contractors at the counter, providing them with product information, processing sales transactions, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals to transition into a sales-oriented role and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. You will have the chance to learn about our contractor customers and develop essential skills for a successful career in sales.

Requirements

Responsibilities Include 

· Welcome and assist contractors and customers at the sales counter. 

· Respond to inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and specifications, ensuring accurate and timely information.

· Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and check payments, with attention to detail and adherence to company policies.

· Build effective relationships with key customers and employees. 

· Eager to learn about the construction process and the various building material products. 

· Effectively manage multiple customers and tasks. 

Candidate Requirements

· Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment. 

· A strong desire to learn and grow sales skills and product knowledge to prepare for advancement. 

· Ability to engage with customers and build relationships. 

· Basic math skills and ability to use various computer software systems. 

· Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· Availability to work during operating hours Monday – Friday 7a-5p and Saturday 7:30a-12p.

· Legal right to work in the United States.

· 18 Years and older with high school diploma or equivalent. 

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
