Description

Desktop Support is responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems, applications, and peripherals. This role ensures efficient resolution of complex user issues, enhance overall user experience and contributes to the stability and security of the IT environment. By collaborating with other IT teams and maintaining clear documentation, Desktop Support plays a critical role in optimizing technology performance and supporting organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities (Daily and Monthly)

• Follow existing procedures to ensure received equipment is wiped/formatted and ready for deployment
• Unbox, apply asset tags, and label new equipment before entering inventory
• Gather, digitally scan, and file various paperwork
• Provide weekly inventory counts of equipment (computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, headsets)
• Organize and clean Information Technology work and storage areas
• Follow existing procedures to install operating systems and prepare systems for deployment
• Use UPS system to ship equipment to remote locations
• Other duties as assigned by Information Technology leadership
