Driver – Youth Transportation (Bright Light)
As a Driver, you will safely transport youth enrolled in Bright Light services between their homes or schools and our center locations using a company vehicle. This role is ideal for someone reliable, flexible, compassionate, and committed to supporting youth and helping ensure they can access the services they need.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely transport youth to and from their homes or school locations to Bright Light centers for scheduled services
• Ensure youth are transported on time according to established schedules
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment during transportation
• Follow all transportation safety guidelines, company policies, and confidentiality standards
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding schedules, delays, or transportation updates
• Conduct basic vehicle safety checks and report any concerns promptly
Qualifications
• High School diploma
• Registered Behavior Technician certification
• Six months of experience working with children, youth, or in human services preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and follow transportation safety procedures
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual with strong attention to safety
• Compassionate and patient when interacting with youth and families
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
• Commitment to the company’s mission and values
