Toyota of Tacoma is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician for a high-volume, well-organized shop.

This is a flat-rate role where your income is driven by your production—and where the work is there to support it.

What You Can Expect

• Annual Earnings: $66,000 – $159,000 (based on production)
• Consistent Workflow: Strong car count and steady demand
• Flat-Rate Pay: Earn based on what you produce
• Modern Shop: Clean, organized, and fully equipped
• Toyota Training: Certifications, hybrid & EV training available

What This Means for You

• Entry-level or slower producers typically fall toward the lower end
• Experienced, productive technicians earn significantly more
• The shop has the volume to keep you turning hours

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently
• Handle maintenance, repairs, and advanced diagnostics
• Work on engines, transmissions, electrical, and hybrid systems
• Maintain productivity while delivering quality work

What We’re Looking For

• Proven technician experience (required)
• Ability to flag hours consistently
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Team player with a solid work ethic
• Toyota experience is a plus—but not required

Requirements

• 1 year of automotive experience. 
• ASE certifications are ideal. 
• Strong automotive background 
• Strong teamwork skills 
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written. 
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.  
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
