About the Role
The Production Planner II is a mid-level position responsible for creating and maintaining efficient production schedules, ensuring that materials, resources, and labor are aligned to meet production goals and deadlines. This role involves working closely with various departments to coordinate production activities and optimize the use of resources This role involves supporting Lean Manufacturing practices, implementing demand scheduling tools, and utilizing advanced skills in ERP, MRP, MS Project, Excel, and SQL. The Production Planner II will work under the guidance of senior planners and managers to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that materials, resources, and labor are aligned to support production activities.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.
Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and logistics, to
coordinate production activities.
Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ERP systems to manage production schedules and
inventory levels.
Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in scheduling and resource allocation.
Assist in the development and implementation of production planning policies and procedures.
Provide support and troubleshooting for production-related issues.
Perform data analysis and present relevant findings & suggestions to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
Typically 2+ years of experience.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Purchasing Best Practices, Demand Scheduling Tools.
Skilled user of ERP, MRP & Excel.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.
Understanding of capacity planning and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or CIS.
Certification: APICS.
Experience using SQL, Python, R, MS Project, PowerBI, Tableau.

$65,150 - $89,600
