What We Are Looking For:
The Sr. Revenue Compensation Analyst is a trusted business partner and knowledgeable advisor on all facets of Bandwidth variable compensation Structures and Methodology. They will own the compensation theory and guiding principles of our compensation philosophy. They will work closely and support Front line leaders and Senior Leader within the Sales, HR, and Finance teams. They will be responsible for managing main commission software and its reporting and statement documentation. In addition to that, they will also drive the discussions for Exception Resolutions. The Rev Comp Analyst II will play a key role in the variable Payment process for the revenue team. Finally, they will proactively engage with front line leaders and Sr. leaders to assure all compensation plans are effective, accurate, equitable.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor and Advise on the monthly/quarterly/annual commission process for the sales, marketing and operations teams, ensuring commission calculations comply with the plan methodology. managing exception requests versus policy.
- Evaluate with Revenue Directors/Managers and recommend exception requests that deviate from the established policy.
- Evaluate and evolve systems and processes critical to the reporting and tracking of Revenue Org Compensation KPI’s
- Drive and support change management in support of business expansion and growth.
- Serve as a dynamic team player who can function as a technical leader as well as a strong business analyst and advisor.
- Develop and administer revenue reporting, forecasting, KPIs, Hunter-Farmer-SDR team metrics.
- Work with the Business Analytics Center of Excellence (BACE) Team to ensure we receive all required information necessary for reporting and evaluating sales metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to evaluate and provide insight into all sales metrics including SDR, Hunter, Farmer, and BD/strategic teams.
- Build and strengthen working relationships with current sales leadership team members and cross functional team members including product, finance, People Services and BACE team members.
- Communicate transparently and courageously to members of the sales leadership team, notable areas of concern, risk, weakness, opportunity, expansion and growth. Use supporting data to not only draw conclusions but support your opinion
What You Need:
- BS/BA in Business, Finance or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a sales analytical role and a track record of successful application of diverse analytical approaches.
- Salesforce.com CRM experience required.
- Excellent organization skills and proven track record of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment required.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, specifically with extracting, formatting, validating and analyzing complex data sets.
- Must be able to communicate complex and/or technical information clearly and concisely to all levels within the organization, using tact, common courtesy, persuasion and discretion.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and senior leadership.
- Demonstrates ability to anticipate impact and take initiative beyond direct responsibilities.
- Strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of working with all levels of end users and stakeholders.
