Gateway Regional Medical Center is looking for a PRN Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team on nights. This is a great option for a nurse who wants flexibility without sacrificing meaningful, hands-on patient care - or who's looking to supplement a current role with additional shifts on a supportive, collaborative unit.
What You'll Do
- Deliver patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate nursing care in line with established clinical best practices
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
- Step confidently into a fast-paced Med/Surg environment on an as-needed basis
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Illinois RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross); ACLS preferred
- Willingness to complete Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training within 1 month of hire
- Clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
